Some things have to be mentioned first:

• These sprites were made for MV and therefore you will have to own MV to have the license to use them.
• You can use them in MZ without any further editing.
• Since the SV Battlers did not come with a base and SV Battlers are a lot of work, you cannot rely on getting any SV Battlers but the ones in the bonus pack. I recommend a front view battle system or one relying on normal charsets!

Also, what is Dark Fantasy?

Not to be confused with the recent DLC of the same name the Dark Fantasy Bonus Pack brought a whole bunch of new characters, plus many of the MV RTP characters, in a new tall style, that has been known as Dark Fantasy ever since.

The style was to many people’s liking and two specific people on the board added a lot of content to it. This made the resources available in the style much more extensive, making it easy to fill a whole game with them.

Tonbi converted a lot of the other RTP characters to the Dark Fantasy style so people now have a nearly complete MV RTP to work with. Not only that, he also made characters that had no corresponding sprite as the Succubus or the Sahagin. And if that had not been enough, he made a template and costume sets, some of them as parts that allow you to quickly recolor and mix and match them to create a huge variety of sprites.

Additionally, Tonbi has already started tackling MZ and has already converted a many of the characters and made additional ones!

He also converted the doors to match them and is constantly working on exciting new things, so make sure to check his work out on a regular basis!

When talking about Dark Fantasy, he just has to be mentioned!

If a style doesn't have enough finished content, modular parts can help a lot in enabling you to build characters that match your vision. And he has made tons of them!

His preview characters give you a small glimpse of what can be done with his work. The thread has many of the default actors outfits deconstructed and set up with many variations and bases not only for humans but also for several other humanoid races.

If you are looking to rebuild your party in the Dark Fantasy style, you are in the right spot! But not only that, the material is perfect for creating a loads of different NPCs by recoloring and puzzling the pieces together!
